Tank Size - Agazizis

would a 48litre be too small for a pair of agazizis apistogramma, i do like the borellis, but ive been tempted by some agazizis we've got in at work?

think it would be a bit small, or just about pushin it, nothin else could live in the tank, mine have taken over half of my 200litre tank chasin out swordtails and a bolivian ram

stick to borellis then? are there any other species you'd reccomend? someone said bitaeniata to me but i cant find any locally

says 50-70ltrs for a pair is minimum

It depends on the footprint of the tank more than anything. If it's a shallow tank with a large footprint it will work, a taller tank with a smaller footprint would be a bit too tight.
