Tank Shape

Is there really any difference between a square or rectangular tank?? I've got a choice of a 90l square or a 60l rectangular tank? I'm thinking that the fish will be better in the 90l but they won't have as much length of tank to swim in in the square one iykwim.
Any preferences on the shape of tank?

Have you got the dimensions?
Clearly the larger the volume the better but generally speaking fish will do better with a rectangular tank, it allows them to have more territories and a good run for swiming space.

work out the floor space. Which ever is the larger will be best. Tank height only has an impact on certain species.

The square one is 324in and the rectangular one is 288in so looks like the square one might be better then?
