do you know how long i should have my wave maker running for?

24/7 im guessing youve turned it off? and you dont have powerheads? if so all of your filter bacteria are dead, thus causing the bacterial boom, and your live stock will die. you should have the wave maker on full during the day, and a reduced pattern during the nightdo you know how long i should have my wave maker running for?
see the ammonia? im guessing youve had die off#### good job I asked. Il see if my tank clears up by leaving everything on. And il also add rowaphos, thanx

water changesooops il re-check it naw. what do i have to do if i have got a reading?
salt lolI am onwith checking it naw. i need to leave the mixture 20 minutes. If I get a reading how large water changes and how often do they need to be? and do i need to add any thing to it?
RO water a 50% change should do it but if you have no live stock then leave it. as it will cycle. is this a new tank? with live rock added recently?lol i guessed that, I ment anything like ammo lock. Am I best buying ro water from the shop? and how much do i need to change? my tank is 240L
4kg of live rock is NO WAY enough, you need about 24 kilos, take the fish and inverts back! buy the live rock, and cycle it properly...wait for the ammonia nitrite and nitrate spike. post stats on here everyday and we will tell you what to do.I have live stock, small regal tang, small pyjama cardinal, bannana wrasse and a dancing shrimp, and the 2 corals and about 4kg of live rock. The rock and fish have been in it for about a week now. but the aquarium has been running for around 8 weeks 6 or 7 weeks with no live stock
