Tank Plan Opinions....

Speaking from experience, I wouldn't keep anything more than a pair of angels in anything smaller than 6ft if in a community situation (ie not on their own, you could get away with 30g for that). We had 7 up until recently in our 135g, then they paired off - and voila, instant mayhem and severe injuries. We've had to rehome 3 of them and split the two pairs between our 6ft tanks. And they rule them - no other angels would have a chance in there with them.

All of ours grew up together, apart from one which was added recently. Mine are kept with tetras and other small community fish.

You've done the right thing, although I still think a tank upgrade might be an idea - min tank IMO (and others) for angels is a 30g ;)

I know, the situation will have to stay as it is for now because of finances, but cheers for your comments.
She is okay for the time being, i'll post a pic soon (or even better a vid) and you can see how happy she is, i may be rubbish at science but i reckon i can judge her temperment reasonably well. She is happy at the moment. In fact i think she considers herself a gourami more or less. But there'll be a new tank in the next few months.....
Thanks LisaLQ
Ps. theres a egg based recipe for you in the food related thread you posted on recently
