Hi all. I posted these in the wrong forum earlier. This is my first (pretty poor) attempt at Fish Photography! :)

Can anyone tell me exactly what type of Gourami I have in the first picture?

Many thanks

Wilde.

Nice tank looking gr8. Yeah thats a blue gouramis and tiger barbs and platies.

Thanks everyone, glad you like them.

Any problems between the lobster and the neons? I always read that they'd go after small fish. Not sure.

Some people have said this to me. It seems hit and miss. I have a lobster in the 20G with 3 Plattys and a Lobster in my 25G community tank (with the neons). Absolutely no problems so far. They do sometimes chase the fish but are too slow to catch them.

When I drop in the catfish pellets (meant for the lobsters) the fish go for them but then the lobster will run in, scare them off and take pellets back to its den. Thats what he id doing in these pics.

please tell me im wrong, you havent got a Red Bellied Piranha in that tank!

The Photos are actually of 3 tanks. The RBP's (2) are in the biggest tank (30G) with a common Pleco (no trouble). I am actually looking for a new home for the RB's see this post,

I'm so relieved you don't have all those fish in the same tank. I can just imagine the scene, the Red bellied Pirahna munching on neons while being picked to pieces by the lobster.

Nice fish though.

Good, another smart user :good:

Not that smart. I did argue with CFC for ages that 2 RB's together would be fine but finally admited I was just plain wrong!

Youre common plec looks more like a gibbiceps to me.

Thats great! I prefer Sailfins, its hard to tell when they are smaller (at least for me) being colour blind.

LOL. I'm crazy but not that Crazy.

Thanks! They are eating small fish now (frozen not live). Every since I fed them the first fish they turn their noses up at anything else.
I will be sad to see them go.
