Hi guys,
I am looking into getting a group of about 4-6 Synodontis Petricola to go with my Pseudotropheus Saulosi and was wondering if I would have to feed them anything special or if they have the same dietary needs as my Saulosi.
Also I currently have about 20 Fry and was wondering if they would snack on my babies.

Many Thanks for your assistance.
Ash

Hi Ash,

Petricola will pretty much eat anything and are therefore very easy to feed. Your Saulosi though are Herbivores so you need to make sure you avoid feeding anything too meaty - the Petricola will do fine on a veggie based diet which is what your Saulosi need with just a few catfish pellets daily as a suplement.

As Ferris stated petricola will eat just about anything, so if the fry are small enough to fit in their mouths they will indeed enjoy the snack. Great for population control if your fish breed like rabbits.
