Tank Mates For My Bettas And Their Final Home Pictures!

So after filtration problems, water quality issues, bettas jumping tanks and getting attacked by other bettas and needing ongoing treatment, dividing the tank into two then pulling the divider down....i FINALLY have two tanks i am happy with that they can call home!

Ramjet sneaking around...(his tail is fully recovered from attack. Still a bit straggly but nearlly 100%)

Shimmers Kingdom.

The tank lights arent on much through the day because my house is pretty well lit and i found they prefer the natural light. I turn there light on at night though.

Any suggestions what buddys i could get them to share their tanks with? I would like to get some other fish to keep in there with them.

Your tanks are both looking great. I especially like the first one. It was worth it in the end though wasn't it

Yep definantly worth it in the end Im going to try and find out what buddys they can be kept with. I really would like some but maybe just in Shimmers tank because Ramjets a bit bigger than him so may not take to having buddys. They were both kept in communal tanks at the aquarium i got them from though so they should be ok with some other fish in there.

Really?? Are they compatible housing wise? I have an albino corydora in my 3ft tank. He is two yrs old. I would of thought they needed more room than a 28ltr tank..

as for mates.

cory cats! My Ace has 2 cories, a little panda cory and a spotted cory. they play chase and ring around the rock and hide and seek.
Ace does a little flaring at them, but no real aggression. he's never bit or hurt them and vice versa.

My boys arent that agressive I hold a lil mirror up to them and play games with them. Maybe i will try them with a couple of corys in each. Im sure when the corys get bigger Mr Albino cory in my 3ft will like the company when they get bigger. Im trying to find a nice female to breed them both with but im not fussed. Been looking on Aquabid but if i by anything else off there i will need a new tank!! I already have four runinng

Yeah they seem to love the tank space. I mentioned to my fiancee' i want to get another tank today to get a couple of HMs and he flipped! "How many friggen tanks to do you need?? They all cost so much to run blah blah blah"
