got my new rekord 96 tank on friday and got it all set up and sunday i put the driftwood in and planted it out and since ive done it ime not very impressed as the water looks realf green and so does everything else....have taken a small sample of water out and its fine no discoloration what so ever. ime using exactly the same bulbs in both tanks as i was v impressed with the one i got for my rekord 60 which is also planted now and i will turn into a species tank. the bulbs i am using are a 15watt arcadia fresh water lamp rated at 7500k for my rekord 60 and 18watt arcadia fresh water lamp also rated at 7500k. the planted tanks i have seen on the forum look very clear but the tanks have only been planted for a day now maybe this is the problem??

heres a few pics of the bulb in the tank before it was planted and how it is now
