Tank lights...

I jus recently got two 2 foot shop lights and im wondering weather they will be ok to use for a 4 foot going to be planted 55g tank or is it better to get 4 foot lights?

IMO std flourecent tubes are not good enough for planted tanks.
Go for the proper length and tubes.

I should get some tubes for tanks. plant-glo is a gd one.
