im currently watching an item on the well known auction site e**y - number 120897165679

which is a 5ft fish tank, im seriously considering bidding on it as it looks a great price etc but it comes with a HUGE 15" RARE BLACK PIRAHNA (s.rhombeus) which I wouldn't want, any idea what I could do with it if I did decide to bid and win ???

Sell them?

Eat for dinner over a nice bottle of wine?

Ask person to rehome them prior to you collecting?

Common sense options really?

thanks for the sarcasm :)

my LFS wouldnt take something this size I wouldnt want to be stuck with this fish if I won the auction thats why I asked.

the price of the tank / stand / filter etc is currently at £51 which is bargain, obviously the price will go up with a couple of days left its just the fish that worrys me really.

There is a fish site aquabid or something like that. You can post a listing there and someone will take it off your hands in a jiffy.

Euthanasia, I know this is the least likely option, but as a last resort...

A 15" black rhom Piranha is easily worth a few hundred pounds so if you were to put it on Aqua classified for even something like £50 people will bound to bite your arm off for it,

Maybe even worth testing the water by putting on an advert now saying that you may be receiving a new tank in the near future and that it comes with a Piranha and would anyone be interested in purchasing it,

Given that the bidding is at £98 now with 2Days3Hrs left, that auction is going to go for £300+ easy, some bidders will be just considering the fish and if the tank/equipment is useable its a bonus.

people will bound to bite your arm off for it,

I bet that fishy would too if you put your arm in!!!!

If you won that auction, how on earth would you transport the fish - apart from giving it to the local fish and chip shop?
It's a lovely looking tank, but will be a problem in itself unless you have an estate car the size of mine and even then there might be difficulties size wise.

The seller says he'll deliver for a price.
The bids have shot up since it was posted here, I think you have competition!
