Tank Idea

I am leaving for vacation in about 30 mins, so fast replie would be nice. There is a 110 gal tall tank (cube shaped) at my lfs. Would this be suitable for like 3 Uaru, 4-5 Discus, lots of bosemani rainbows/buenos aires tetras, 5 silver dollars, and a couple clown loaches? of course there will be ample water conditiond for the uaru and discus, and maybe a pair of angelfish. hows that sound?

Well im no expert on them, but from the few posts over the last day or so, I think Uaru's get far too big for the 110G. Dont remember the exact size but they do like to be in larger groups and with their large adult size, they need a big tank.

Ya, so maybe it wouldn't be an issue. I did just find a couple articles that say they rarely get over 10 inches in aquaria. Sorry, like I said, no expert, ie shooting from the hip... haha

haha, im getting there. Had to do the dinner thing with mom last night and I ended up starting to drink when my roommate got home right after that, so no pics last night. Maybe tonight. we'll see

Rainbows, Silver Dollars, and Clown Loaches are going to be far too active for the Discus, especially the Silver Dollars, who get spooked really easily. I am not sure how aggressive Uaru are, but Discus can't be kept with anything too feisty.
