Tank I Saw Yesterday

hi there, i went for a meal last night and they had a tank setup with tufa rock, it was really what you would see in an african cichlid setup, stocked with lots of tufa rock and with sand.

but what was weird was the stock, they had about 5 different kind of cichlids ranging from electric yellows to the electric blue ones, which is fine. But they also had 3-4 parrot fish in there too, can this setup work? because if it does this is how im gonna decorate my tank.

i just need some advising on this

well it doesnt really come under a catagory, thats why i chose "tropical chit chat" which isnt really a catagory
