Tank Help

Hi
my friend has a fish tank its a
SuperFish Aqua Silver 65

The light has broken and the hood needs cleaning but we cannot get it off the top of the tank. We've tried vertually everything but we dont want to break it which is going to happen if we keep fiddling!

Can anyone help asap?

If there no fish in the tank try rubbing some vaselene under the hood with your finger.

Sounds like it needs abit of greasing to lift the lid off.
Is there any fish in the tank?

yes there are fish in there

I just phoned the shop she got it from (they are closed now)
and they said that there were 2 or 3 clasps that you have to push open with a screwdriver or something - there are not such clasps and the only things we can see that are similar are welded shut!
