Tank Dividing

ok so my main tank is 35litres/7gallons

can i split this (still awaiting on del of divider) and put a male in?

if so on what ratio? as i have 4 girls also

any help appreciated

So the 4 girls are in the 7 gallon and you'd want to divide it to put a male in it?
I seriously would not. The 7 gallons is just enough for the girls.
