Whats everyones opinion on tank decoration...

Do they look best overstocked with plants?
Sand/Gravel Substrate?
Driftwood, Bogwood or neither?

Oh, and does anyone know any plants which grow across the surface of the tank?

Ever had a moss-ball? I have...

Bah!

In a word: Natural. I try to keep my tanks as close to natural as I can. Not any one area like a biotope or anything. Sand substrate, areas of thick plants, hiding places via driftwood and stone.

well bio-type aquarium is awsome, i am getting a asian bio-type soon

but i like it nice and clean but natural, obviosly the tank in my sig isn't but i was a begginer back then, it was my first tank =)

I like adding natural plants. My latest design has my plants growing out of my fake stump decorations. I wish I had a camera to show it but looks great.

Depending if you have a nice rock collection from any vacation, they can also add a bit of a personal touch.
