Tank Cycle Going Nowhere Is This Right?

Quick question. I started fishless cycle last Wed, doing the add & wait method. Dosed about 5ppm. As of today, my ammonia is lingering around 3-3.5ppm, no nitrites. I am leaving on holiday tomorrow for 10 days. Should I just leave everything as it is? This is what I am thinking, but just wanted to make sure I should not dose another 1ppm of ammonia or anything before I go. I believe that it should go all the way back to 0 before I dose again? Any help is appreciated, thanks! :good:

Check your readings for a faw days in a row. Only do a water change if you get over 0 for your ammo and nitrite, if you get no readings of either for a few days in a row then the tank is cycled and you can just go back to doing weekly water changes. :good:

Electric Warrior - you should maybe start a new thread on that one because I'm not 100% sure of the answer :/
