my second hand tank has arrived, and the one corner is chipped on the outside, i know it has had water in it up until i got it as everything was wet.

im going to fill it up today and see if it leaks, its not to deep, just want to make sure it doesnt leak before i move it upstairs!

is there some sort of filer i can get?

A small tube of aquarium silicone sealant is what you want. If it's been holding water up until now, I wouldn't worry too much (I have a tank like that too), but a good blob of silicone will put everybodies mind at rest.

I have a second hand tank full of superficial chips along the side edges that do not affect the seal. I did opt to do as above and reseal.... but I also went to homebase and bought black flooring edging and glued that to the outside as a trim to cover it up. Made it look nicer.
