In need some help again, dad has offered his old aqua 220 litre tank as he getting bigger tank. Hes used it as marine for a long time so will empty it and ill go pick it up.

a: whats the best way to clean a marine tank of all the algae, just water and a sponge? It will be a normal freshwater tank for me.

b: what the best external filter for 220L tank budget £150max
c: Is there a best make of heater that people use that comes recomended 300w £60max

Thanks again people

The Fluval 305 is good and you just need a heater £60 is alot spend more on a filter

a: A good algae scrapper and some elbow grease
b: fluval 305 or 405 if you plan to overstock or heavly plant.
c: fluval E300 or a jager 300w
* I have read good reviews on the external heaters that attach on to your external filters flow pipe.

Hope this helps, Keith.
