well i have been using the same background in my main tank since i got the tank.............and it was rather a crap one.......so i put it in the bin, now none of my tanks have backgrounds which i dont really like either, not that i'm fussy
ive taken a liking to the black backgrounds but since ive only had the crap one and usual crap ones before i returned to this hobby, i find myself slightly uneducated concerning these.
is there anything on the market that sticks directly on the back of the glass rather than using blasted sticky tape????

I've read where some people have actually painted the back of their tank, so thats always an option.

I have a black background on both of my tanks and love them, I would never go with anything else. One tank has black sand and the other has black and white sand. I think its a good combo, really makes the fish and plants stand out.

LOL... yeah I think I'd rather go through the trouble of taping the stupid things, which really can be a pain in the @$$ sometimes.

I'm at work right now (yeah I know, pretty slow day today), but I'll try to take some pics when I get home and put them on.

Im contemplating using frosted window film on my next tank.... the stuff i have is left over from doing my windows and is just white......

I think you can get other colours though. Ive gone for the white as i want to back light the tank a bit.
