I want to stack the back of my tank with stones from bottom to top like 2" flat stones....do you see any reason why this would be bad for my tank? the rock are safe for tank,, I think its red slate natural color.... I hate the back and want a more natural look

pluss I'm getting more java moss. I found a place that sells it pretty cheap

It should be fine.

Just make sure they're stable, and that your fish can't topple them by digging underneath them; resting them on the glass (as long as they're not pointy) is best.

You could glue the rocks as well just incase.

I wondered about glue in the tank.......Epoxy?

Theres a few aqua glues you can buy or theres safe superglues that I forgot the name of. But it's worth a look around.

Well I did a little bit of work today. click on my Signature pic for a bigger view.

My undergravel filter does not meet in the middle so that give me a few inches between them to do whatever I want... I put a little sand down and some more java moss and there where some plants stuck in the moss... I planted those as well in the sandy area and on the big lava rock.

wow very nice looking tank i do like the sand parting in the middle

wit hregards to glue you can use superglue, but superglue will set instant when in contact with water, superglue requires air to stay liquid, why its great for plants and i am going to give it ago on my plants soon

If youclick the picture you'll get a huge closeup view.....
