All the levels in my tank test as fine, as of last night all my fish appeared fine, as you do you loose concentration and sit there watching them. However, this morning i woke up to one of my male guppies looking rather battered, one of my big sunset platys was dead and 2 of my rummy nosed tetras looking very pale. Last night all was fine, everyone swimming ok and noone looking ill. No sign of disease on the platy. I had 4 rummy nose tetras, as i said 2 are pale, very pale and one is missing (could be hiding not been able to look fully as i had to leave for work). Anyone offer any suggestions as to what the hell could've happened?

120lt - 6 guppies (1 battered), 3 platys (were 4 obviously), 2 clown loach, 1 red finned shark, 1 flying fox, 4 rummy nose tetras (one is MIA) and 4 baby plecs (new addition one will be moving to the other tank when bigger and ill be looking at re-homing another 2, but they are only 1/2 inch at the moment). PLenty of plants, plenty of hiding spots etc. Everyone has got on fine for weeks, even last night. Guppies and platys all interact, rummies stick together as you'd expect, as do teh loaches. Fox and shark tend to be by themselves but occasionally "hang out" from time to time

Did you quaranteen the new guys? thats one possibility. Also the addition of more fish may have cause the RTBS to change his territory thus conflicting with other fish :)

new guys where in a net for a few days before letting them loose. The shark seems no different in behaviour than previous days from what i have noticed. Resting is the same place, and playing in the same place. But it could be anything
