Hi all,
Just looking for a bit of advice, on what to do to make my tank look better, as I still look at some peoples tanks and want mine more like it.
My tank is a Low tech setup with 2x24w t5 tubes and I dose TNP+ and Easycarbo.(When i remember ) It is a Lido120 about 24" tall.
So what do you people think it need? Or is there too many plants?

Image is a little cloudy but best i could get.

Thanks westwood

Just noticed my camera show up the scratches badly!

Apart from rehoming the Angels (which you are trying to do) i would say it is pretty much spot on!

P.S. no such thing as too many plants!

some nice growth in there.

If you're looking for comments, then please don't take the following as a criticism, it's your tank not mine.
You've got some nice rocks, front-right, but for me the anubias that is tied on hides them too much.If it was lower, then your eye would start lower then flow up to the rocks behind (make sense?).
I really like the anubias on and around the wood, dead centre, but the stem to the right of it (cabomba?) diverts away from it.
Just mine opinion-i'm far from expert. Still like it

I understand, I think I'm going to move that piece of the anubias to either the back right or the wood in the centre. And I will move that cambomba (not sure myself what it is) to the back left.
I must say i do love anubias and I would like a few more peices to go around the bogwood.

Thanks for the comments :good:

I'd move your stems into groups, get the same species together then I think it will be perfect, it'll look like a Dutch jungle :)

Anubias will be much happier on wood than that rock too. There are a lot of beautiful healthy plants, but it lacks balance and focus. Try using the rule of thirds to balance it out, and use diagonal lines to lead the eye to a focal point

Beautiful Ram you have there. Tanks looks great.
