I have a 30L Betta setup, with 1 male betta, 4 red cherry shrimp and 4 pygmy cories. I am aware the cories might not be in their ideal setup, but after asking my lfs about them, they said a small group would be fine. I know they prefer larger groups, but would it be best to leave them as a 4 in this tank with it being relatively small, or would it be better if I added another 1 or 2? Fortunately, my betta does not seem to mind either the cories or the shrimp, so thus far, compatibility seems to be going fine.

You can see two of the cories at the front, while the other two were hiding behind the bogwood. Will I need to put fertilizer in the tank for the plant, or it it fine without?

I'd like some opinions on my setup/decoration. What might improve it?

IMO i dont think you should get anymore cories considering that a 30 liter is less than 9 gallons. About the tank, it looks like an anubias, you should probably get some liquid fertilizer, i dont see anything wrong with the setup, maybe something more natural like maybe you could have all live plants and a couple natural looking smooth stones, and a cave
