Tangayika Cichlids

Does anyone have any experience of keeping these particular fish? I have read they are a bit delicate and harder to look after than malawis?

I have kept malawis for a long time and just a few months for keeping Tangys i am finding them the same to keep as long as you keep them in clean water and good food they seem happy!

Never had any real issues, can be a bit aggressive so watch out for small wounds and keep on top of water changes, I do 20% every week, little and often seems to be the way to go. Tang tanks are usually quite understocked as the fish need space to establish their territories so nitrates don't build up too quickly. Amazing fish but can be hard to fond decent ones in fish shops
