I have 2 x Arcadia Eco Aqua Tropical 842mm 19W over my 39" x 30" x 24"D I am used to see a lot more light is this enough to show the fish off at there best or am I better off investing in a 3rd LED strip ?

Many Thanks

Tangs look better in a more subdued light, not to bright, if the light is to bright it bleaches out the colours, dark background, not to light a substrate :good:

I agree with kiriyama, I have T5`s 39W on my Tang tank, one is marine white and the other is more a warm white and it doesn`t look as bright but warmer than the Malawi tank that has 2 marine white T5`s 39W :good:

i have 1 Arcadia Eco Aqua Tropica over my 2ft tank, it is 18" deep but i position it pointing more across the top rather than down. i still get that wonderfull shimmer but without the bright light in the tank. it looks better but i also think the fish prefer it that way. i have noticed my calvus sits in his dark cave more if the light is pointing straight down.

I used to have one of those ocean moonlight , i think arcadia, i used to put it on in the evening, nice reflective shimmer from the surface casted really nice shadows in the tank, then I stood on it when changing the tank over
