Last night my Oscars laid eggs which I've been dreading as they sharing there tank with other fish to my surprise they don't seem overly protective I've a 5x2x2 foot tank and they seem happy to just keep other fish out of the foot or so of the end of the tank where the eggs are. I think they both females as eggs are white already.
