THE HORROR, THE HORROR, damn &%!*?+*/&% Yoyo loaches. thrdwatchfan wins! Misson aborted! I went up to check and found my Yoyos sucking the fry through the bars of the trap!!! . I had to dump Fiskis and do an emergency rescue. I saved 25 fry and moved them and the trap to the growout. Well thrdwatchfan come to Sweden and a few fry will be yours. Unless of course you put some Voodoo curse on them. Stupid Yoyos will not eat the snails I hired them to do so, but my little defenseless babies looked fair game even after they got two extra rations tonight, fat little greedy bas&?!"s!!! Go DU Pioneers Hockey!(I come from Denver).

I'm sorry about the rest of your babies...I feel your pain. I just had a new batch of frys last night also. They weren't eaten but I only have 2 that I found alive so far. Hopefully through the night more will come out from where ever they are
Anyway, congrats on the frys you have and we will have to get together and make reservations (by the way- i didn't voodoo anybody )

Well 3rdwatch you are going to have to provide your own airfare but I will throw in a plastic baggie for the fry. I can not make any promises as to how you are going to get them through customs.

Elisabeth it is a small world I have lived mostly in Denver but was born in da yoop heh! Born in Hancock lived in Calumet till I was 6. Lived up north here in Umeå and Holmsund for nine years on March 12th

One of the fry got squished or something in the emergency move so it did not make it to the morning. Oh well I guess I will just have to make do with the hundred or so I have now and Doris could go any day now and she is as big as a house. So that could be another 80 or so!

Tango my orange mickey mouse platy is absolutely fit to burst any day now with her first fry

Hillary the guppy is also ready to blow too with her 3rd lot

They are going to have to fend for themselves in the tank though as all my smaller tanks are full of jarred betta juvies

Excuse the algae on the back of the tank but it was waiting for the arrival of my bristlenose plecs that I got today

Looks like you are going to be up to your filter sponge with fry and soon, them girls is ripe! I am going to keep an eye on Doris and try to get her in the trap in the growout safely away from the Yoyos. If it is anything like the last time she birthed I will probably go crosseyed trying to count the little buggers. Cheers

But man, those females are really big! wow!

I covered the outside of my breeding trap in a new stocking when i breed fish. (leg stocking that is).
My guppy's and mollie babies fell to their doom through the small gaps. Stupid black shark, gouramis, bala's, etc etc etc....

I feel your pain Mr Miagi, and the stocking idea may be worth a try let us just see what happens when my wife finds out I am planning on swiping her hose hehehehe.
