Tailspot Blenny Bothering Pagoda Cup

I have a 12 gallon nano cube with a pagoda cup in it. Last night I got a tailspot blenny and it keeps perching on the pagoda cup. Every time it lands on the cup the polyps all retract. I've only had the blenny for a day but I'm a bit worried about the cup. Is this fine? I am upgrading to a 120 gallon hopefully in a few days but it may take longer and hopefully the blenny will have more spots to perch. Any help is really appreciated. 
P.S. If no one noticed I'm totally new to reefs and saltwater so anything that doesn't go perfectly totally freaks me out haha
