Tail Rip

I woke up this morning and one of my bettas fishes fins is ripped...not just in one place but there iss three threads that have been ripped apart, i took him out and put him on the other side of mi 10 g tank where there is no plants that can hurt him and put the other fish in his side. I was wondering if the betta fix remedy works for tail rip. and should i put him in a different tank instead of the 10g to help his healing process? and if the betta remedy doesnt work for tail rip... what does?

I would use a bit of the betta fix. You need to kep an eye out for fungal infections etc on the rips, but he should be fine.

When 2 of my boys got in together I just cleaned the tank, put in fresh water and ordinary water condition. He should be ok you just got to watch for rot of similar. I dont do meds unless it is really necessary.

Just make sure to keep his water clean, so he can heal quickly and prevent infection.
