Has anyone tried T4 lighting tubes?

I reckon two of these over my 3ft tank will be sufficient for good plant growth. The 4000k triphosphor tubes are included and all for £17 + VAT for the two, and they can be daisy-chained!
What do you think? Perhaps not suitable for a moist environment - but surely that could be sorted with some sealant. A bit of DIY also needed to attach in a hood. But at this price it makes everything else look like a rip-off.
