T-Bar's Eating There Babies! Help!

erm...ive breed my t-bars before and this didnt happen in there 90litre tank, this time round there in a larger tank but after 4 days of the babies being alive...the mum and dad have decided to eat them! ive no idea why or what could of caused it, ive been told its because i left the male in there but im pretty sure that is wrong advice. does anyone know what happened?

Any other fish in the tank that they perceived as a threat perhaps?

If not, then maybe they just decided to eat them, no reasoning what fish do sometimes.

Nexe time, if you want to raise them, maybe remove them when they are hatched.
