As some of you know i purchased four T-Bar cichlids so i could get a pair and good news i got one the other two went back to the lfs and have already found good homes (girlfriends brother works there so i get knowledge of who my fish go to).
Well the pair have changed colour to a very dark blacky brown colouration and have cleaned out a plant pot of pebbles :hyper: today and are guarding it against all comers lol a BN and 3 bloodfin tetras.
Now i know what this means as have resarched them alot and this is there breeding colouration so i may have some new additions which will be brilliant as never bred cichlids before  :hey:

Thanks for viewing :good:

Here are my new babies apologies about the streaks on the tank and the bits on the plant pots but gonna wait a bit before i clean it.

I'm realy happy for you, oh! and in the wild, parent cichlids catch their prey and chew in their mouth then they spit it out for their young to eat, parents may also starve. but don't worry about what your cichlids are doing, it's normal.

Cheers mate and thanks for that bit off info much appreciated :good:

I didn't add any special food for my sajica fry, the parents spat out chewed food and they are now 2 months old. Great fun to watch them growing. :good:
