got this syno labelled up as a tiger synodontis

anyways, its probably about 5-6 inches long. i brought it young for its markings, in the hope it will keep them. however i knew i was taking a gamble on it just being another turgid brown syno cross when its older. however other synos ive had have dropped their markings before now, yet these ones remain.

i expect to be told its some sort of cross bred dull brown syno when adult, in which case it will go.

it looks great at the moment and an adult one that looked like this would be amazing.

Sorry, but a hybrid. Almost definitely a Eupterus cross (see the tall dorsal fin) and the markings are similar to a S. schoutedeni, so it may get to keep it's markings, especially as it's already a decent size and still has them.
