Well, as with most fish you now see today, they have been selectively bred over and over again and again, but it is 100% natural (as is everything there is in this universe), but I know what you mean, in the wild, it is natural to catch male swordtails with the pointed bottom part of their caudal fin. It is just differently shaped (to some extent) to survive best in the area they live.
