Swordtails Giving Birth :)

so i went in my room and was looking at my plants, and i see 2 litttle eyes looking at me and i was like yayaya my swordtail is giving birth. soo i go through my stuff and set up the litttle breeding cage thing. and it took awile to get her in and i prob put her through alot of stress well shes been in there now for about 25 mins and hasent pushed anymore out, is this normal because of the stress she just went through? got 2 litttle fry in my sepret fry tank and waiting for momma to push more out

I seldom catch mine in the act of dropping fry Lyomat and never move my fish into a breeder so I can't help much. I would have a hard look around the tank. She may have been done and you have more fry to still find in the main tank. Swordtails are fry eating machines so even if you don't find many more fry, she may be done.

how big is your substrate? same thing happened to me yesterday, but i was too late my molly was done... but it had to have been less then 20 mins because i found two or three swimming so i moved a rock and the substrate exploded w/ fry lol. dig around in the rock and you might find more. i found 40 total.. even found about 5 sword tails that where born about 10 days earlier... and i thought i had all of them.
