hi guys
ive had some probs wiv me swordtails
i originally got 1 male two females but one day one ov da females grew a tail and became male
(im not lyin)
nyway now 1 ov my males is gettin bullied
any suggestions? :good:

These fish need a large tank as the males need a lot of space to display.
We know it's not your fault u got 2 males, but many males have are know to not develop male signes untill they are nearly a year old, this is what has happened to you.
These males are best and strongest fish your ever have.

What size tank do you currently have, these fish need at least a square foot of surface area per male or it's far to compact.

whats the size of the tank.

Course some males are more aggressive and you never never be able to chnage this.

da tnk is 60x40x55 however i just moved da pair to another tank
hopefully the other male will get betta

60cm is about a 2 foot, so the tank is only just large enough for 2 males and as u can now see if you have a domenate male that too over powering then not much u can do

well ive moved the pair into another tank and their doing okay
my male in the original tank is on his own
is it worth getting him a mate? :good:

In my own experiences, I usually see swordtails top out at about 3 inches body length. That is plus whatever you get for the sword etc.
