Fish Fanatic
my male swordtails mouth is turning white...reasons for this?
It can be a disease. Is the white fluffy?
Its fungus, but some Antifungus fish medicine
It may affect your other fish depending on what they are. Maybe if you have a spare tank, you could add the swordtail to that and then add the medicine?![]()

Anti-fungus medicine is different from ick medicine. I had an angelfish with fungus and there was a pleco in the tank, and I added the antifungus medicine as specified in he box and it all went smoothly. The pleco should be fine as long as you follow the instructions on the packaging![]()
Or in the UK, you could use Interpet Anti-fungus treatment, the antibacterial thing you bough is useless as your fish don't have the internal bacterias.so i got the API MELAFIX:Antibacterial fish remedy
this is fine to put in with a pregnant fish or no?
Oh it should be fine then, I was led by the name to believe it was only for internal bacteria.it says that it treats open red sores, fin and tail rot, eye cloud, pop eye, body slime, mouth fungus and open body wounds......and my fish has a mouth fungus and it treats it
