Swordtail/platy Hybrid?

Hiya all!
I have 3 fish in my tank that I raised from fry, and I did think they were plain mollies. However, their bodies are more shaped like platies and they've now started to develop a sword on their tails (they're a few months old now)! Here's a pic of one of them...

Do you think it's possible that they're swordtail/platy fry?

Yes, very possible. Platies and swordtails hybridise very easily; in fact female platies prefer males with swords to males of their own species! Nearly all trade swordtails are actually platy/sword crosses anyway.

Ah, cool! Does this mean these boys could be fertile then? I really hope not, I'm trying to get out of livebearers! :S
