Hey, I was just wondering how many (If possible) swordtail lyretails i could fit into a 10 gallon tank? Would I be able to add a trio of cories too?
It's unfortunate I'm stuck with a 10 gallon because I really don't have room to fit even a 20 gallon in my small bedroom.
-At the same time, I'm not a big fan of most of the fish that are recommended for stocking a 10 gallon tank.

I wish I had a tank big enough for cichlids like the tank my father keeps at home =[

swords need quite a lot of space esp- the males. 1 male and a couple of females should be fine.
How ever you will soon have lots of fry which will over load a 10 gallon tank.

The corry's will be fine too

swords are out of the question but elder's would be perfect for this tank size, it is very hard to find females so there would be little chance of fry ovfer population the tank, also have you ever seen Pygme Corries? these are great and the come in many different colours.
