here's the prob. i was sold thois swordtail as a merigold sword at my lfs. it might have been mislabled from a previous batch and forgotten to change the tag. all of their swords and platies are the same prices regardless of color variation. so i presumed to buy it because it looked pretty, was female and looked like a swordtail and was the same price, so what d i care right??? well i saw todat that it was sold as a merigold twinbar swordtail. this time it was a batch containing males and females, but this batch was weeks after the time that i originally bought her. i forgot if they called it a red merigold swordtail, but i looked up merigold and even merigold twinbar swordtails and they were yellow in color. mine is a red-orange in color but does have the twinbars.

can anyone help me???

note: she has darkened up a bit but not much, got more red thats all

Color may change because of breeding, so it may be a little bit off. Some are lighter, some are darker :D

so she may just be the merigold twinbar that i bought her as but a variation in color. i thought that that was what it was but wanted to make sure :D
