Sword Tails Breeding

Any tips on swordy breeding i am breeding guppies but never tried swords before. Any tips. Ty

all i did was get a male and a female and next thing i knew she had fry and has had about every 6 weeks since.your best bet would be to have a 2 female to 1 male ratio. male swordtails are extremely horny little fellows so it's best to have 2 females so he won't drive 1 crazy.

make sure you have breeder bag.mine have fry about every 6 weeks so expect a lot of fry.

it is a square plastic frame with a net over it that hangs to the side of the tank.give me some time and i'll put up a pic of mine.

Divide the tank into 2. Put the born swordtail fry into their but their is already guppy fry in their. Would they get on?

yes,they make tankdividers.as for the fry i've never had guppies so i don't know.i've had mollie fry and swordtail fry together and had no problems.

Keeping fry together shouldn't be a problem, i have guppy and platy fry together
