Any interesting fish wish lists out there that you don't buy because of cost? Just curious. The Swissguard basslet looks a like a great addition to my nano and gets nice comments. It was recently available on the internet but was $88, not including shipping (total about $114). Hmmmm....just a bit high for my pocket. So, what marine fish would you love to put in your tank that you can't rationalize the cost (for now) ? SH

Golden angel.. Lovely little fish but comes with a high pricetag usually.

I have a potters angel which IMO is equally as nice and quite difficult to find. Cheaper no price too ;)

Any of several mature, well marked/coloured angels.
Saw a very nice Queen for about £150 recently.

Mine is an Exquisite Wrasse (from Drs. Foster + Smith) retail 59.99 + 28.99 for shipping.

Another fish I want but cant affored is the Snowflake eel, I can afford the fish, but I can afford to get the tank he would be happy in.

if i had a bigger tank and £150 i would love to get a look down fish there just so funny, plain but funny :D

If we are talking nano tanks then the Helfrichi Firefish is probably one of the most expensive fish (per inch) you are gonna get.

Saw that...almost $200. That'll empty your wallet quickly. SH

I know this is an old thread, but had to add the fish I saw at the LFS yesterday. Christmas Wrasse has been added to my wish list. :)

Yep they are fantastic little wrases. Unfortunately they dont mix with 6 line wrasses. They are definatly on my wish list and have actually seen a pair in a friends tank, they look stunning swimming together :)

Erm....
Just to clarify, when i meant christmas wrasse, I actually meant the Blue Star Leopard Wrasse (or Ornate Leopard Wrasse). These are also sold localy to me as Christmas Wrasse too :*)
