Adrian Hernandez, the breeder at swampriver, has access to wild collected specimens from Laguna de Los Patos from the early 2000s and late 1990s collections and to other collections. He sells both wild type endlers, called class N and guppy hybrids, called class K endlers. You will find he is a great livebearer breeder and has done much to promote and expand the available fish in both the class N and class K fish. I am also a class N breeder, having only wild unselected endlers, but I am not a large commercial operation like Adrian is. I received my fish from someone called Tampafishman1 on Aquabid, but Adrian is the person to go to if you want fish that can be relied on to be pure but well selected wild type fish. Note that his sales of things like Gambusia and mollies need to be carefully read before buying. He is not averse to breeding a P velifera with a P mexicana to develop a beautiful sailfin molly. The problem, from my perspective, is that he will say it is derived from a velifera without saying that it is a cross in so many words. He is always truthful in his ads but read them carefully and don't just assume something that he doesn't actually say. He is not one to say, watch out this is a cross.
