Maybe your clown loaches. I was having a problem with someone eating holes in my amazon sword, asked on another forum and turns out someone else had clowns and holes in their plants..
Darnit... i just ordered a red tiger lotus and i was going to put it in my big tank which also has clown loaches ....
I've never seen mine eating them, but i've never seen anyone eating them soo... thats my best guess. I had no clue either til that person told me her story.

Snails? Usually fishes don't eat water lillies, they don't like the taste..

BTW, "tiger lotus" is missleading name, because it isn't lotus-plant, it's water lilly. If anybody is interested to know this

My clown loaches don't eat mine, I almost wish they would cos there's so much of it!! They are more taken to sitting on it.

Could be the silver sharks, I think they are partial to a bit of plant. Then, they don't have the mouth for it really. Might be the clown loaches after all.

:)
