Surprised What I Heard At My Main Aquatic Shop...

i dont think its an ugly tank. i think its very very simple looking though. its literally sand and a bit of rock thats it. he could have done so much more aswell. but he achieved what he set out to do. a basic walstad inspired marine set up, which it is. the fish he has are alive and in his own words "doing well" growing n stuff.

Lissette, I was told that the Hydor slim skim really wasn't that great. Could you tell me more about it, since you had one?

Hey Tyler. I had one, but didn't actually use it. Was supposed to be in my 36g. Traded it in for some God of Wars. Much happier about that. Person I traded it to, raved about it though. That being said, I've heard it's received mixed reviews. Depends on who you ask.

Back to the tank. It's a really simple tank and I bet you can get some organisms to thrive in it and keep water quality excellent. Probably with the use of macro algae.
