For those of you that have read my other thread int he marine and reef chit chat youll know I had to very hastily set up a ten gallon for a temporary home for my new friend. Well being in desprate need of a heater I did something I dont usually do, I went to Wal-mart. I picked up a Tetra brand heater. I have not been entirely satisfied with them in the past, but the box I got appears to have a re-designed KISS heater. It is about half the size of the standard heater for that size tank (4.75") and has no temp control knob. It is preset at 78. So ideal for a standard setup. I must say that other models I have had I was not thrilled with their accruacy but tetra nailed it with this one. It has kept that tank at 78 with NO fluctations more than 7/10 of a degree. And at 13$ not too expensive either. So if your in need, dont be afraid to try one of these out.
