Hello all, i am a curious and awe inspired Aquariust, i currently have 2 tanks but one of them with some fish i could use some help with. Temperment wise as i am getting a new fish that will be a hassle for the others to handle.
Current Tanks
55 G tank
t4 Light
Glass lid top
75G penguin Filter/2 biowheel setup
55 G water heater
40 G water circulation pump
occupants
2 Rainbowfish
5 Black skirts
5 white skirts
5 Rasbora tetras
4 Albino C. aeunus catfish
3 yoyo loaches
3 plecos 2 Bristle nose ( 1 albino 1 regular ), 1 Rubberlip.
Snail infestation currently an issue.
2nd tank
40 G tank
Mariland day/night 40g tank light
40g tank filter
40 G manual heater set to 76*
20G air pump
40G water circulation pump
occupants
2 Marble angels( were marked as veils but dont have long enough fins to be veils )
3 Black neon tetras ( will add 3 more soon )
3 Green Tiger barbs ( need to rehome when new fish comes in )
1 Fire eel ( assuming thats what it is, color doesnt match with others ive seen )
Snail infestation currently being worked on ( adding zinc to tank as suggested by LFS )
Currently for my 40G tank i will be getting a African butterfly fish, as i was told the min tank size was 30G.
WIll rehome the Barbs to my 55 when time comes.
Ph is set at 7.4, currently getting it down to 7.0 to 7.2 to accommodate the new fish.
Food being fed will be bloodworms, flightless fruitflies, mysis shrimp and tubifix worms. Standard Cichlid food for other fish will be provided
