i went to the fish store on monday to test water the ph was yellow n cudnt get lower n the akline was low too but my dad brought chemical to make the ph higher yesterday we did a full water change the ph is good rite now

before we changed the water we notice that our arowana had holes in its head n our little parrot fish seems like they have dropsy but we are not sure should i get the water tested again n get some medicine or wat??

what pH test did you do?
saying it is yellow doesnt help much, but probably means it is slightly acidic, probably around pH 6
the lower the number the more acidic, the higher the more alkaline, with 7 being neutral

slightly hypocritcal here as my tank is currently full of chems but i would avoid using chemicals to alter your water unless the conditions are drastic - make your fish match the water (i.e. keep different kinds) rather than make your water match the fish you like...

hole in head disease, which oddly enough is a disease that leaves a hole in the head i think is pretty fatal...
dropsy could be caused by all sorts, but as your pH level has suddenly changed by several points it could simply be stress caused by the sudden water change

prepare a couple of buckets of water with dechlorinator and stress coat and do some water changes small and frequent and you might be lucky and get the water back to what your fish are used to and they may recover from dropsy

hole in head however......

Should never do a full water change it will send the fish into shock as you have altered all the stats to fast, plus altering ph to fast will cause the fish to go into ph shock.
Best to leave ph alone more trouble than it worth.
Dropsy once the scales stick out organ failure, all you can do is a epson salt bath to help draw the fluids out.
