Sunset

We had a completely surreal sunset a couple nights ago. I only had my cheap flip phone to capture it, so these pics nowhere near do it justice. There were feathers, rippled sand, nets, rose petals, all in vivid colors and detailed, 3d textures. Sigh...I wish I knew how to take pictures. Anyway, use your imagination. It was amazing.

I enjoy watching sunsets, When I was working and on the morning shift and I would sit in my car and watch the sun come up over Lake Michigan.

As a bread baker, I used to start work in the early evening and then work all night. As the sun set the light would change in the bakery and the flour dust floating in the air would turn orange/ yellow in color it was magical

Since I live in a city suburb, actually seeing sunsets or sunrises can be difficult with the buildings close by, so I enjoy this website's webcam views across the mountains....the "Best Shots" tab has some truly spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Sometimes you can get great captures on the webcams just by watching them update every 10 minutes

A rainy day on the coast and this is the picture as the last of the bird call sings across our place, we are sitting on the deck waiting for complete darkness. It is amazing how the flowers stand out.
