Sunburst Platy Needs Attention

shes not laying on the bottom anymore and im seeing some clearness in her pop eye

but she still does the lay like a slant (like This --> \) at the top of the water head first

Try feeding her peas. The slant can be a sign of a swim bladder problem, so watch out. If these antibiotics don't work, you may need somthing that will work on gram positive bacteria as well (the maracyn 2 only works on gram negative).

Has the whitespot gone yet, she sounds like a dying fish to me as they go to the top of the tank, then rest on the bottom to one side.

shes almost stopped slating since and yes the ick still exists but has been cut down to almost no white spots im going to add some salt to aid in the ick demolition, my platy looks quite happy right now, i cant wait till 2marrow

What all do you have in the tank? Too much stuff can also be bad. Also, be careful when adding salt because some fish cannot tollerate salt in their water.

For future reference, please post EVERYTHING that you have in the tank, even if it is unrelated to the current problem. It will help us help you better.

4 plastic plants and gravel, a platy is able to sustain salty water wiht positive effects, however not so doe danios they requires half the dosage

I know platys can tollerate salt, however, i have no clue what other fish you have, so i gave you a warning.

Have you added the danios as that was a big mistake with having whitespot in the tank.

nope im not THAT dumb

until each spot is gone i wont add anyfish to the main tank

im sterilizing my cave that i put in earlier, those damn ebay terrorists.... lol that was the probable cause of the mass infection
